Mohs Surgery

The Mohs technique is a meticulous, precision-based procedure that involves minimal tissue removal. Dr. Smith evaluates thin layers of skin under a microscope to ensure the removal of all cancer cells.

We incorporated Mohs surgery into our practice shortly after Dr. Smith arrived in Saratoga Springs, providing our patients access to this advanced, highly successful technique.

Dr. Smith served as chief resident during her dermatology residency at Texas Tech, where she also later earned patient satisfaction awards in both 2009 and 2011. The dermatology department honored her with the “Unsung Hero” Award in 2009.
